Where do you deliver and how much does it cost?
We deliver to your door in Latvia and 27 other European countries, including the UK, Norway and Switzerland. Shipping is calculated at checkout by weight: Latvia €5 (up to 4 kg) or €15 (over 4 kg); rest of Europe from €35 (small items) to €250 (furniture over 10 kg). We do not ship to countries that are not listed at checkout.
How long until my furniture arrives?
In-stock pieces are dispatched within 2 days. We use various carriers depending on the destination and size. Delivery then takes 4–8 business days within the EU and 4–12 business days to countries outside the EU (Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom). Made-to-order pieces usually take about 1–3 weeks to make; we schedule each order individually and agree the timing with you.
How do I care for solid ash furniture?
Our solid ash pieces are finished with wax and a nano protective coating. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, standing water and hot items placed directly on the wood. Keep furniture away from radiators and constant direct sun. Re-coat the wood with beeswax from time to time. For the epoxy resin side table, simply wipe it with a soft, damp cloth.
Can I return an item?
Yes. Under EU consumer rules you can withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Tell us at info@lignumterra.com within that period and send the item back within 14 days of telling us. We refund the price and the standard delivery cost within 14 days of your notice; we may wait until the item is back with us. You pay the direct cost of returning the item. What materials do you use?
Solid ash (not veneer) for tabletops, shelves and cabinets; epoxy resin, sometimes with real sand and stones; and powder-coated steel or metal for legs and frames. Wood pieces are finished with wax and a nano protective coating. Our wood comes from several suppliers – ask us if you would like to know more about a specific piece.
Do you make custom sizes?
Yes, we take custom orders. Email info@lignumterra.com with the piece, size and finish you need, and we will reply with a price and lead time. Made-to-order pieces usually take about 1–3 weeks, scheduled individually. Pieces made to your specifications cannot be returned.
Do you sell wholesale or work with interior designers and shops?
We work with shops, interior designers and other businesses by prior agreement only. There are no public trade prices: email info@lignumterra.com with your company name, the products and quantities, and we will send you an offer. Lead time depends on the volume.
